Prior to joining Coastal physical therapy, Christopher cared for people with musculoskeletal injuries at private outpatient physical therapy practices in NYC. At Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn he gained experience through a clinical affiliation in acute rehabilitation. He is interested in treating people who have complaints of pain, weakness and stiffness.
Chris has certification in manual therapy—an integrative approach utilizing manual therapy techniques of trigger point, muscle energy, and positional release to diagnose and treat orthopedic conditions. He uses these advanced manual skills to reduce pain and improve muscle and joint function, making it easier for patients to stretch and strengthen their muscles.
He was inspired to become a physical therapist because of his interest in dance. His dance experience augments his physical therapy skills when he treats his patients with orthopedic problems.
